Winter 2017 Anime

Here are some promising Winter Anime for 2017. Are we on the same page? 🙂

Chaos;Child

The premise for this anime reminds me of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor and The World Ends With You games in 3DS that I have been obsessed with previously. It’s very apt for this day and age as we talk about freaky world disasters that are borderline to supernatural.

Kuzu no Honkai

Another shoujo anime that is more realistic in terms of expectations in being in a relationship with another person. I hope that this is more than the doki-doki feeling of your first love, and more of the seriousness of being together and working in a relationship.

Masamune-kun no Revenge

I am curious to see how will this turn out as I have read another BL manga with the same premise (but of course, it’s two guys rather than a boy and a girl). I hope this will bring me to laughter and not just push into the harem anime section.

Super Lovers 2

The sequel to the 2016 anime and it’s shonen-ai to add. It continues the story of Haru and Ren as they get on with teir relationship as brothers. Watching the first season is weird and it includes incestuous relationships between brothers, despite not really related. But it’s full of slapstick comedy and family jokes that makes it entertaining.

Youjo Senki

Futuristic war between one forces to the next. One of the battalion is led by a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. It seems that they are scared of her and her ruthlessness while in battle.

How about you? What anime are you excited in this coming winter?

        1. The semi-colon animes are derived from a game with their namesake. But I haven’t tried those yet because I think they only release it in Japan.

For Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is like all Shin Megami Tensei franchise (Persona, Devil Summoner etc.) where you fuse demons / monsters to suit your needs when fighting.

The World Ends with You is almost the same except you use cards.

They are both fun and both are set in a post-apocalyptic Japan.

Both of them are available in 3DS. ✌
