The place isn’t the same as the village of Ki-ja and it seems that everyone is hostile. What has happened to the Blue Dragon?!

The village is somewhat weird as majority of the villagers are wearing masks. And when Ki-ja asked (quite rudely actually), where the Blue Dragon is, the villagers weren’t aware of the person they are asking about. Diplomatically, Yona thanked for their hospitality and asked if they can stay the night, before they go back to their travelling.

Yona asks about the masks and apparently, the masks are encouraged by the leader for unmarried individuals, as tradition. With a warning, the leader had informed them that the settlement is like a maze and they might get lost if they wander off.

Of course, they are looking for the Blue Dragon, they decided to wander off while Yun maps the place. AS they went back to their room, Yona had heard a cry and pressed her ears on one of the walls — which opens up a passageway. And surprise! There’s a squirrel inside who wants her to follow it.

Yes, she followed it and bumped into a villager who seemed to be planning on something bad to her — judging with the way he holds her arm. So he drags her to where he wants her to go and Yona struggled.

Someone saved her by stopping the man and led her back to where she should be, with Hak and the others. And the squirrel seems to be his friend — and he’s wearing a mask with bells. Meanwhile, Hak and the others are frantically searching for Yona when she appeared with the man. Ki-ja confirms that the man is the Blue Dragon and he just ran away from them.

A flashback occurs of how the Blue Dragon was raised and it doesn’t paint a good and luxurious life like what Ki-ja was raised. He was raised to believe that his power is a curse and they are forced to live a solitary life.

The power of the Blue Dragon is like medusa, except anyone who sees them eye to eye will have their veins paralyzed. They can also see farther than a normal human can see even if their eyes covered by a mask.  The power is a double-edged sword as well, that if used, it will also slowly paralyzes the user of the power.

The question is that if the Blue Dragon is willing to lend his power for Yona’s cause? His upbringing is not the best in the world but Yona might be able to help him get the caring he deserves.
