暁のヨナ (Akatsuki no Yona) Episode 11 Review

Ah, Hak and Ki-ja are still at each others throats.

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

STOP FIGHTING!
STOP FIGHTING!

The episodes starts with some more bickering between Hak and Ki-ja. Mainly because Hak dislikes people who thinks that they can protect Yona as effective as he can be. It doesn’t help that Ki-ja is somewhat infatuated with Yona, believing that she has been destined to be with him as one of the protectors.

They all traveled from one place to another, trying to determine which way they need to go to meet the next dragon. Ki-ja conveniently has an ability to sense where the dragons are located and the nearest is the Blue Dragon.

Believing that he knows the world, Ki-ja obnoxiously leads the way, making him fall in one of the shallow holes in the forest that are filled with caterpillars and millipedes. EW.

Before another fight between them erupted, a group of bandits appears trying to pick a fight to the group. Yona and Yun hides while Ki-ja and Hak fight the bandits together. Of course, with their power, they defeated the bandits with ease. Unfortunately, Ki-ja fought too hard with the expense of using his arm too much and Hak’s wounds open up as he uses his speed to defeat all the villains faster than usual. This earned a little respect from the Whita Dragon as he was amazed at Hak’s dexterity despite being wounded.

As they rested the night, Ku-ja wasn’t used to being outside and whines about things that he is not used to, like their dinner and where they are going to sleep. In other words, first-world problems.

When morning came, they continued looking for the Blue Dragon but at the end of the day, they wasn’t able to to locate him. This in turn made Ki-ja desperate and questioned his purpose in the group. It was further emphasized when he was awoken in the middle of the night by hearing Yona practicing her bow and arrow; and Hak explains why she needs to be strong for herself.

Yona: Say Ahhhh!

With a little push from Yona, he picked himself up and decided that he will find the Blue Dragon that day. All the while, Yun was able to figure out where the village of the Blue Dragon is.

Now, the question is, what will they find when they arrive the village? Is it the same as the White Dragon, or just the Blue Dragon living alone?
