Princess Yona, would you like to hear the voice of God?
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Despite being the priest they are looking for, Yun easily bullies him into submission. I can feel a flashback coming in to explain why the Ik-su was driven out of the palace and why he currently lives with Yun. Now, it is revealed how really naive Yona is, that despite living the castle, she was too self-centered to know what is happening around her. Yun emphasize the point by asking her if she had thanked those who are around her, who had helped her, including Hak.
All I can say is go Yun, make her feel that so that she will totally change!
Trying to dispel the tension in the room, Ik-su asked Yona if she would like to walk with him. It was then revealed that Ik-su is very clumsy. Well, if you’re hair is always in your face, who wouldn’t fall on his butt all the time?
And yes, I was right, it’s flashback time!
Upon thanking Yun, he then regales the story of what a priest is in the kingdom. It was then revealed that priests of before are more powerful than the king as they are revered as messengers of the God. Eventually, the king was threathened with the priest’s influence and power that he had drove them away.
Yun also revealed that Ik-su suffers from depression when he can’t help the people around him. Because of this, him and Yun lives in the middle of nowhere.
In the middle of the night, Yona was awaken without Hak in his bed. Hak was about to kiss Yona, but being an innocent, she wasn’t aware of the act and she thought that Hak wanted to check on her temperature. Haha. Sorry Hak, better luck next time.
The next day, Yona looked for Ik-su and found him by a waterfall crying. He then revealed that he has been dreaming about her and recites what God has told him about her. And it now becomes clear on what kind of task is needed of her based on the mythology of the dragons of their country.
And now the path is clear: she must find the four dragons in the mythology for her to live. Ik-su also stressed that Hak will die with the rate they are going, which fueled her determination in finding them. Ik-su also asked for a favor after deciding the course that they will take, which probably involves Yun.
Knowing the previous episodes, Yun will go with them and Ik-su will be left alone. How will Yun take it, I do wonder? And why won’t Ik-su go with them? When they meet the dragons, will they be happy to see them or not?
